On the morning of March 24, the delegation paid a visit to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, where they were warmly welcomed and received by Chairman Lim Chu-chin and other Chinese leaders. Both sides held in-depth discussions and exchanges.
Since its establishment, Shantou Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export has promoted the development of Shantou import and export trade and foreign economic and trade cooperation, and made important contributions to the commercial and trade cooperation between Thailand and China. There are a large number of overseas Chinese in Thailand, most of whom are from Chaoshan. The Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce has a history of 113 years and has formed a fraternity with 74 Thai business associations of various industries. It has long been committed to the friendship between Thailand and China, promoting economic and trade exchanges, cultural exchanges and two-way investment. He also pointed out that in recent years, the motherland keeps opening up and sharing China's huge market and opportunities with the world. With the implementation of RCEP and the deepening of "One Belt and One Road", more and more Chinese enterprises come to Thailand for investment and development. It is hoped that the visit of the delegation of Shantou Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export can deepen the trade and investment between Thailand and Shantou and jointly build a new platform for friendly cooperation between the two places.
